John Russert

John Russert is a Director, Career Transition with BPI group, a leading career management and coaching firm. He is also certified as Fellow Practitioner by the Institute of Career Certification International.
He brings extensive career management and corporate human resources experience in providing advice and coaching to organizations and employees encountering business strategy and culture changes.
Mr. Russert is a member of the leadership team for the firm's Career Transition practice, which offers a highly personalized approach to career planning and transition services for companies, executives and other professionals. He leads the firm's senior-level transition programs, including overseeing their delivery, quality and related technology.
Mr. Russert also coaches senior executives seeking career direction and transition skills, while helping them successfully move through their marketing campaign. He coordinates the SSP BPI Group Alumni program, which serves as an important networking link to current individuals seeking new career opportunities. Additionally, he consults with management teams on organization implications prior to and following business restructurings, mergers or acquisitions. In all his work, Mr. Russert focuses on the well being of the individual.
Prior to joining BPI group in 2003, Mr. Russert held senior management and human resources positions in the food ingredient, financial services and retail industries - giving him extensive experience with recruiting and sourcing officer-level, managerial, professional and college candidates.
Mr. Russert received his business degree from St. Norbert College and completed a six-year military commitment in Europe and the United States. He is active in professional and community organizations.
