Mary Herrmann

Mary Herrmann is Managing Director, Executive Coaching for BPI group, a leading global management and human resources consulting firm that helps clients create shared success between their organizations and their people. BPI group’s North American headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois.
Ms. Herrmann joined the company bringing more than 20 years of experience of helping organizations build better and more effective leaders. In her current role, Ms. Herrmann acts as both an executive coach to senior executives and leads the North American executive practice for senior level executives.
During her career, Ms. Herrmann has worked across a variety of industries including financial services, non-profit foundations and universities, transportation, quick service restaurants, hospitality, advertising and marketing, consumer goods, healthcare, manufacturing and engineering.
Prior to joining BPI group, Ms. Herrmann was Principal & Executive Coaching Practice Leader for a human capital consulting firm, which she managed and grew the Executive Coaching practice. She also served as president and founder of Executive & Professional Coaching, helping C-suite executives become more effective and influential in their roles. Her experience of owning her own coaching and consulting firm shape her practical solutions and results-driven approach for clients.
Ms. Herrmann also worked in several key HR roles, (association management, insurance and advertising) notably starting an HR function from scratch and smoothly guiding a company through a large merger to ensure no productivity decreases or voluntary turnover.
Ms. Herrmann has an M.S. in human resources and industrial relations from Loyola University and a B.A. from Northern Illinois University. She is also a graduate of Corporate Coach University in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and a member of the International Coach Federation.
She resides in Hinsdale with her husband of twenty-five years, Dan, and children, Dan and Emily.
