Our Community Involvement

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we partner with select not-for-profit organizations to make a positive impact on the communities in which we live and work. Whether we offer financial or volunteer support – or both – we are proud to be able to "give back" to those in need.

Giving Back 2011

BPI group is excited to announce the establishment of a unique initiative - BPI group "Giving Back" - through which we have committed to the reemployment of 100 unemployed women in the Chicago area in 2011. Working in partnership with JVS Chicago, we will provide personalized coaching and career transition services free of charge until each candidate is successfully placed.

We are honored to partner on this endeavor with JVS Chicago, a non-profit, non-sectarian social service agency that offers career-counseling services. We will work closely with JVS, and provide you with updates throughout the year.

The Chicago Lighthouse

One of the organizations we support is The Chicago Lighthouse. For 103 years the Lighthouse has been a national trendsetter in offering far-reaching programs that have opened the doors of opportunity for people who are blind or visually impaired.  From humble beginnings back in 1906 they have evolved into one of America's most comprehensive social service agencies. Among their many programs is the nation's oldest and most prominent Low Vision Clinic; one of the few clock manufacturing facilities left in the U.S. in which visually impaired workers produce clocks that are distributed around the world; a nationally acclaimed school for children with multi-disabilities; an innovative Legal Clinic to assist people who are blind in combating discrimination; and a VA program to assist veterans in all 50 states.  For more information, go to their website at www.thechicagolighthouse.org (You'll notice their logo is a lighthouse as is ours!)

BPI group was recently named a Community Partner by The Chicago Lighthouse. We would like to thank the following individuals in particular, for their time and support: Lu Cibelli, Kathy Lichtenstein, Rob Kowalski, Chris Pett, and Mike Broscio.

In addition, we also support the following organizations:
